Let it Snow (men)

Snow has been scarce so far this winter, but a storm or two is in the forecast this weekend. We were thankful for good roads when we traveled this past weekend to my mother in laws funeral. Now....a dusting or two would be nice to make it all Christmasy.
The house is decked out,

and the rest of the snowmen are playing on the desk top. After struggling with the mantel this year I handed these over to my daughter and let her do something with them, this is what she came up with and I think they look quite content here.

Tucked here and there

Once again leaving most of the regular decor out means fewer touches needed, less time decorating and less taking it all down!  And....less storage!

A few snowmen found themselves out on the deck on a rare sunny day. We have had so many clouds, it makes me SAD!
But....cookies make me feel better, these chocolate butter cookies were just yummy and I hope to get the recipe posted real soon on ND Kitchen's site!

Let the snow begin (I may regret that!)

Shannon, I LOVE the tool box with the pine, holly berries, and greenery in it! So love that.

I notice your two little sewing table drawers - - - so cute. Have you seen my whole unit of those that one of my antique shop friends put together and I SNAPPED right up? You will be able to see them on my recent post called "It Happened on First Street."

I do love all the snow people! They are so sweet! I love the idea of putting the pine in the tool box. How creative. Every thing looks wonderful!

Those cookies look so yummy. I love your snowman collection and they look great where your daughter put them. I have a small collection of snowmen that sit on my kitchen window and on a shelf. We have had some cold mornings but no snow. We live close to the Cascade mountains and they have had lots of snow there, great for the skiers.
