A Chair on the Wall

As my daughter's wedding approaches I am finding I have to make my decor match and incorporate the  "wedding is 7 weeks away" look.
A clean house.....not really happening, with all the crafts and collecting of decorations, in a mobile home with NO garage...we are being invaded!!!!

That is why I had to take a couple moments to rearrange a the mantel. First to keep my sanity, and next to show off some of our handy work.

A while back in the premier issue of Vintage Style I saw this set up- and old chair on the wall with a planted tea pot, I loved it.

I really call this area my true junk collection because all my most rustic loves end up here making me question weather it looks good or like a pile of junk.

Since we are making balls of paper roses and cupcake liners, a few set out will hopefully lighten the look. Displayed on what will be cake displays- because there is no more room in my cupboards to store them!!

You can see how the cupcake liner ball is made HERE and paper roses have some good videos on YouTube.

The new view!

Your mantel is beautiful. The softness of the paper balls juxtaposed to the steel pulley provides wonderful balance. I'm sharing this lovely vignette on my Once Upon a Firefly FB page.

P.S. Found you through WUW.

Love the way you are using your antiques. In a trailer, space is always limited, but have used it well.
